I was pleased to introduce the Fairer Private Rented Sector White Paper in the Commons today.
This White Paper will overhaul the Government’s approach to private rented sector properties and will improve standards and security for over 11 million people 
This will outlaw no fault evictions which stops landlords from evicting tenants without reason. It will also become illegal for landlords to have a blanket ban on renting to families with children or those in receipt of benefits and make it easier to own a pet in a rented property
