I think it’s important that children have access to the broadest range of education options and grammar schools are a key part of that.
Today I met with Richard Langton and Lee Roberts, Headmaster and Chair of Governors of Queen Mary's Grammar School, to hear about the fantastic work they are doing to engage with primary schools in Walsall North.
It was great to hear that they have seen a steep increase in pupils from Walsall North and those from disadvantaged backgrounds in receipt of pupil premium funding.
I’d like to say a big thank you to all of the staff at Queen Mary's for the progress made so far in improving access for local children.
