The Prime Minister, Theresa May, is backing local man, Eddie Hughes, as the right choice for Walsall North.
Eddie, 48, is standing as the Conservative candidate for Walsall North in the forthcoming election on June 8th.
Theresa May recently met with Eddie and was pleased to discuss how they would work together to make Brexit work for Walsall North.
Theresa May said, “Eddie Hughes is standing with me to secure strong and stable leadership for our country, and the best Brexit deal possible for you and your constituency of Walsall North.”
“Eddie will be a strong voice for your community in my Government, and together we will always stand up for you and your interests.”
“It’s important to remember that a vote for anyone other than Eddie Hughes here risks Jeremy Corbyn becoming Prime Minister of a shambolic coalition government."
Eddie said, “The referendum result has completely changed British politics and it’s time for a change in Walsall North. Everyday I am meeting people across Walsall North who are telling me they want to get on with Brexit and make it work. I am on your side and want to make that change happen.”
“Now, under the strong leadership of Theresa May, we have an opportunity to shape our future and make a success of Brexit. I want a Brexit that works for everyone in Bloxwich and Willenhall; protecting and creating new jobs across Walsall.”
“I want to take control of immigration, whilst making sure we can deliver the skills needed to keep our economy and public services strong.”
“As the son of a bus driver, I know what it takes to make ends meet. I pledge to work hard and be a strong local MP, who will champion your needs in Westminster.”
This election is the most important the country has faced in over a generation. Please support Theresa May and Eddie Hughes on Thursday June 8th.
