Reopening the Walsall to Wolverhampton railway line is a key transport pledge I made during the election so I was delighted to welcome the Transport Secretary to Willenhall today to announce it's going to happen.
It was great to meet with Chief Superintendent Andy Parsons to pass on recent concerns about crime in Willenhall & Bloxwich and discuss how we can work together. Andy grew up in New Invention / Walsall and returned on 2 January as the Commander on Walsall Neighbourhood Policing Unit.
As part of the Government’s ambitions for a seven day NHS, Bloxwich, Willenhall and Walsall North residents are being encouraged to use a new service that allows them to book GP appointments during the weekend. I welcome this change. *
