Armed Training HQ

I recently had the opportunity to visit the training centre and headquarters for the armed officers of West Midlands Police. The officers are called on to deal with a range of dangerous incidents including organised crime and terrorism.

Meeting the Police Commander

As part of my campaign against crime, I met with Chief Superintendent Andy Parsons, the local police commander, to talk about policing in Willenhall, Bloxwich and Walsall North.

Latest on new A&E for Walsall Manor Hospital

Following my successful campaign to secure £36m of funding for a new A&E department at Manor Hospital I visited the existing A&E department to meet with Ruchi Joshi, Clinical Director of Emergency Services.

The new store is run by Mark Yates with a fantastic homegrown team of 40 local colleagues. 

New Willenhall Station Confirmed!

Brilliant news. A brand new Willenhall Railway Station is set to open in 2021 thanks to £25 million announced by the Government.

Eddie's Acorns Appeal

ACORNS APPEAL: Acorns Hospice has been given a lifeline that will keep the Walsall hospice open until at least the end of March 2020. This will give Acorns time to try to raise the final £2million needed to guarantee the long-term future of the hospice.
