Today the Chancellor has made some strong decisions to drive growth, cut tax and put more money in the pockets of working people across Bloxwich Willenhall and Walsall North. The Chancellor has made it clear that this Autumn Statement will reward hard work. Some measures include:
Tax cut to employee national insurance from 12% to 10%
Tax cut for the self-employed
National living wage increased to £11.44 an hour
Triple lock confirmed and a 8.5% increase to state pension
6.7% increase to working age benefits
Freezing alcohol duty
