Conservative Government announce £350m Housing Deal for the Black Country and West Midlands

I'm delighted Chancellor Philip Hammond announced today in the Spring Statement a Housing Deal with the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA), including a Land Fund of £100M to buy and clean up land around priority sites, focused on the Walsall to Wolverhampton corridor, to deliver at least 8,000 homes. The package of £350 million of new Government funding will support the delivery of new homes in the West Midlands. This is fantastic news and is further Government investment in the Black Country. I've spoken to the Chancellor and his team about this on many occasions and once again we are putting Willenhall and Bloxwich on the map in Westminster.
