Eddie Hughes MP was delighted to welcome Housing Minister, Alok Sharma MP, to Walsall North today to meet with residents and hear how we are improving housing and building new homes here in Walsall.
Eddie was also delighted to hand Alok a first draft of his proposed law to improve carbon monoxide safety in homes.
Eddie said, “It was great to have the Housing Minister in Walsall Today and he was impressed with the work we are doing to unlock more homes and better homes in the Borough.”
”I very much hope he will look at my proposals on carbon monoxide poisoning prevention and that he will consider my proposals to improve safety around this issue for people all across the country and help prevent deaths from this silent killer. I look forward to hearing his thoughts at our APPG on Carbon Monoxide next week.”
